Inspires: RSC Monologue Lyle Fulton
A soliloquy from Hamlet by William Shakespeare. In this scene I play the part of Hamlet, who has recently learned of his father's death, and of the resulting marriage of his mother, Gertrude, to his uncle, Claudius. The soliloquy illustrates his despair at the loss of his father, and the anger and frustration he feels due to the haste with which his mother has moved on, with his own uncle.
